I have just returned from a short break touring Devon and Cornwall. Good stuff except for being driven to distraction by my seat belt warning flasher going nearly the whole trip. On the odd occasion when this didn\'t occur, I found that the side windows actually went up and down in one motion instead of rising or lowering intermittantly in time with the seat belt flasher.

Just before this began to happen I discovered a green plastic relay box detached from underneath the drivers seat but cant feel where it belongs to reconnect it. Does anyone know if this is the problem or have any other ideas?

Any suggestions would be helpful. Cheers

hi i may be wrong but if its any help when i took my seats out the other week im sure i can remember seeing a green connecter that basically clipped to the wire coming from the seat belt buckle (the part u click the belt in too )might be worth just taking the seat out to have a look if it is that just the five bolts 2 at front 2 back and the last one a bit further back under the small carpet flap to the rear of the centre console

Thanks for reply gaz 1011. Have removed seats and found the connectors to the belt lock. However, they are both connected and there seems no connections for the relay that I found under the seat.  Posting a thread in the technical section to see if anyone knows where it should be.

eddicla, the 2nd CPU (not to be confused with the normal CPU in the passenger footwell) in your car, (no 2 can be found on the LHS of your drivers footwell) is on its way out. (black box with 3 block connectors)  the lovely flashing seat belt light can aslo be accompanied by a beeping sound like an old fashioned space wars game.

I would keep your windows up, as when it goes completely (and it will) you will not be able to rasie or lower your power windows.

Thanks for your contibution oxo. You sound like you speak from experience. Any ideas where to source the part and cost?
