Past pride n joy!

Thought id share an old pride n joy of mine from 23 yrs ago when i was 19! I loved this car  I used to wash and polish it for hours and it was always immaculate. I used to ferry all my mates about in it from pubs and clubs. it had an awesome sound system....3 amps all kenwood. graphic equaliser and a bazooka base tune that fried followed by 2 10" subs. the slide out carry with handle kenwood was  2 weeks wages....when i added it all up stereo gear was same as car purchase price!

had a lot of fun in the car.....got through 1 engine and 1 gearbox.....

it came with the towbar...mo idea why i never took it off.

notice the purple stripe and xr2 emblem ? i went into a sign writers and asked if he could do the ford emblem in purple? he said yes leave it with me....6 months later everybody had em and his shop was booming......I NEVER had a fido dido on the back screen though!

this was the time when insurance rocketed and people where nicking stereos all the time...it had 2 alarms and install was stealth....about from BOOM BOOM BOOM as i came down the road....The prodigy Experience shaking the number plates and rear view mirror so everything behind was a blur...lol
