Good news story to share,

Had a long term customer on the phone today with his RX-8 2006 PZ he has owned from new, now with 160,000 miles on it

We know this is a properly  looked after car, that's had regular oil changes and probably more importantly new Mazda coils as the upgrades have come on line, indeed today he bought the latest C coils just to make sure he has the best fitted at all times.

Still starts cold and hot like it should and still performs properly, which means there's no need to worry despite the miles on its original engine and gear-box however it did loose a diff along the way.

I have had several on the phone over the last couple of years with 110K - 120 K and another with 160K however this one is a long term customer who I know is defiantly for real knowing his cars full history as a one owner.

Many ask me "so how long does a Rotary last" my reply is always "there's no set mileage as to how long these engines last" and this more than bears this out.
All the best Clive

re japi

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

That's brilliant, and costly! Wonder how much money in fuel that would cost
Be nice too see what compression it has

If it starts hot and cold as the guy said then the compressions can't be that bad :)
