Just wondered as inevitably my engine will get a jet wash as part of vallet before i get it back & i just wondered if there\'s anything in particular i should point out to avoid or otherwise? http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008\' target=\'_blank\'>http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_13_12.gif\' border=0>

OK but given the level of dust on mine now it is fairly essential & unless i absolutely insisted they didn\'t is guna be done, so other than filters & alarm & them not going OTT with super high pressure boiling water http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008\' target=\'_blank\'>http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_1_12.gif\' border=0>setting on filters & alarm http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008\' target=\'_blank\'>http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_11_1.gif\' border=0> anything which is best avoided?

Best to avoid any electrical connections, intake, abs, fuse boxes, alternator, coil packs, intercoolers, water radiator, oil coolers................

Use a rag and some elbow grease and a six pack ready in the fridge for when you\'re done, far safer :)

Clean first, then beers though ;)

Si, use a cloth and water first and then gleaming stuff, dont jet wash it, seen lots of cars not start again after jet wash buddy:(
