Hello,

would anyone possibly have a diagram of the twin oilcooler pipe setup for the fd3s, i have a leaking oil line on the passanger side front and i believe
Its coming from the pipe nearest the outside at the bottom of
My oil cooler but before i go stripping the underside of the car to confirm this i would like to see the pipe setup with what im up against if said pipe needs to be replaced.

It would also be brilliant if anyone can confirm if replacing the passanger oil cooler is possible without removing the bumper if the cooler is at fault and also any advice how the oil cooler pipes disconnect from the cooler itself?

Thanks.

Hi Sorry just seen this.

You might be better down loading the workshop manual for the FD, I think the address is foxed.ca

I know the oil pipes to the cooler are threaded and if like mine are too tight to loosen without breaking something.
The oil pipes have joints which can be separated by removing the clip. this allows the two pipe ends to separate, but it may need some manual force. refitting the pipes is the reverse, push one pipe joint in to the other and fit the clip.

Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for the input but i have sorted the issue now, the leak was coming from the pipe fitting which hosts the push fit pipe, i left the pipe pushfit connected with the clip and nipped up the actual fitting with the 28 and 32mm spanners, this fixed the leak.
Cheers
