Hi. Iv bought A 1993 rx7 fd3s. I got pip from wgt to come and check the car for me and he was very impressed with the condition of the car and the engine. Compression was in the mid 7\'s on the front rotors and low 7\'s on the rear rotors. So happy days.

Anyway.

My cooling fan comes on with the heater blowers? But doesn\'t seem to come in on its own? It might be me not letting the car get hot enough. The car has got a bigger radiator so maybe it takes longer for it to get hot? It got to around 96 degrees on the apexi fc commander and no fan kicked in? What temp should it come in at? I\'m just abit worried as I know these cars don\'t need any encouragement to get hot anyway and I don\'t wAnt to cause any damage. What can I do? Like I say if I\'m desperate I can just leave the heater fans on and it will be on but I don\'t want to do that. Any I put would be great. Cheers ash.

On a standard car i think they cut in just above 100deg c mate...when you get your apexi mapped you can get it set to come in lower.

on a side note stick the hand controller in the glove box! Or as i named it pandora\'s paranoia controller!

Cheers guys. Also how do I check the coolant level? Is it the plastic tank on the left hand side of the engine bay at the front? Where it\'s got markers on the stick? And what coolant do people use?
