Wiring tail lights????

The taili lights work, the brake lights work, the reverse light doesn\'t. Previous owner said he messed with the wiring but idk where to begin? Please help:o

I know it sounds like a numpty suggestion but have you made sure the bulb is OK first? I guess after, get a multi-meter and check whether it\'s getting power when you put it in reverse?

I figured I would check that which would be the easiest, but I have limited time for inspection so I figured I ask for more technical help ASAP so that I may be ahead of the game
