Trying to research what slick tyres to get....but either brain not worky or im thick!

The sizes are bonkers and dont seem to cross to normal sizes.

I\'m after approx rear 215 50 15 in slick size and front 205 50 15. What would that be in slick sizes?

The sizes are only different in they dont use profile depth they use diameter so you are looking at about 580mm (215/580/15)

boosted

right so 19/57/15

means 190mm width 570 sidewall and 15 for 15 in wheel?

Which genius decided to work out slick tyre sizes in both metric and imperial units?? Completely retarded that is!

Yep I agree....and still available in crossply? Was on the avon tyres motorsort website....confusing...I got loads of 195 50 15 888s so wil use these for the front and go sticky slicks for rear once I work out what I need.

Oh hang on all tyre are in metric and imperial. Completely and utterly retarded. And in percentages! Just keep it in inches it\'s simple enough.
