I have posted this after a member has informed the club of an electrical fault that can happen on the RX-7 FD that he has discovered than not many others would have realised.

It was a word of warning that "If" the Spedo does not work on an FD it also means that the cooling buzzer is imobilised and we all know that this is a part that we need to have working or potentialy we could loose an engine.

Hope this helps people.
All the best Clive

im now super paranoid, my speedo is forever jumping around to 130,150, then back to 20 or so (looks like one o them old skool graphic equalizer thingys :) ), but it is always moving and the odometer is working properly all the time.
could my buzzer be not working then?

If you run low on coolant, shouldn\'t the Temp gauge rocket?

A little scared now as my speedo and rev counter dont work at the moment...
