What is the avg price for a FD in the UK?

I am wondering the avg price for an OK FD in the UK? That is, okay paint, some minor dents and stuff is okay, engine compression tested ok. Around 4 grand and upwards towards 10 maybe? This is if needed, a bone stock one.

Asking since I am hoping to take one year in Ireland, university. And the prices are roughly the same if not a tad lower in Ireland.

And in Norway, the prices for FDs on plates START at 13.900£! Yep, true story.

See yourselves, the price in NOK is divided by 9-10 somewhere to get sterling pounds, so go figure! And never ever complain about prices on cars in the UK!

Forgot to say, what I am looking for, is a UK spec one, NOT J-spec. We can get plates on UK spec as they are TÃœV tested and eurospec with the wheel on the wrong ide, J-spec are not TÃœV so Norway doesn\'t allow plates on them except a few, which they stopped giving out plates to in 2004.
