Seat Question

I hope you\'ll forgive the intrusion from an MX5 owner. But the v-spec I bought came with RX7 leather seats. Really like them but they\'re way too high for me.
With MX5 seats people have done a "foamectomy" (see here: http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=50684), dopes anyone know if something similar is doable twith Rx7 seats?
