hi! i just picked up a black fc3s tonight. im suprised im indoors now and not still out enjoying it. i absolutely love it. i will say it needs a bit more power but the chassis is awesome, rides really well on bc coilovers and steering feels so good. im planning to go down the tried and tested power fc route to gain a few horses and get my head around the rotary. then see how it goes, i will probably build a cage in it too as i make them but never had a caged car myself. i do fancy a street port/big turbo set up one day though.
i will get some pics up soon but for now...

Welcome into the forum :) I am glad you like it, its a great car, just be aware of a few things to make sure that its reliable:

If the car overheats the waterseals might go = soft seal rebuild
If the engine runs lean on boost = apex seals get damaged = rebuild

Be aware that the car isn\'t new so its best to upgrade things like the radiator and fueling BEFORE trying to up the power. The standard FC is restricted to around 200bhp stock, a few tweaks with the intake and exhaust and it would probably up to around 275bhp on the standard turbo.

Main thing is to enjoy it but also look after it, they are getting rarer now but they are awesome :)

Get some more photos up!

cheers. i agree, to ease my paranoia i will be probably looking into cooling and reliablility first of all, then induction and further mods to support a bit more boost. it already has a koyo rad and water temp gauge, that and a full exhaust being the only mods to the engine as yet. i will probably look into oil coolers and intercoolers to keep engine and charge temps down further as the oem gear looks a tad small. that said, on the drive home i didnt top 90 degrees which seemed pretty decent for spirited driving :D

the engine in this seems really sweet. the previous owner has put loads of effort into the car already, saving me a fair few jobs which is always nice. most of the work done has been on chassis tuning, solid mounted and bushed all round pretty much, with the coilovers and front arb this thing is like a big go kart. the interior is bare and loud, sporting buckets and harnesses and not a lot else. i had a play with it on the drive home and im pretty sure its the best handling rwd car i have owned. i have had heaps of rwd turbo jap cars over the years, my latest couple being tuned r33\'s but they didnt have anything on the feel of the fc. it just wants to corner flat out all day long.

Nice - welcome to the world of the rotary ;-)

They are addictive - I must get mine out of the loft, garage, spare room, and other cars and put it back together ;)

Miss driving it :-(

Yeah I can\'t remember the last drive I had in mine. But jesus I can\'t wait till I drive it next! MPV\'s just arn\'t the same! Just need to finish the welding change the gearbox and clutch and its MOT time!
They do handle very well and show a lot of the more well known cars up on most roads. My mates R33 GTST can\'t touch mine on the twisty stuff. Not had chance to try it against is R33 GTR though.

I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Thought so, I was looking to get them on mine but went with FD rims instead.
