Airbag in 1992 FD 3rd Gen RX7?

Hi does anyone know if the driver side airbag is standard on an import 1992 RX? I have recently test driven one and the owner wasnt sure (as it doesnt say airbag on the wheel and the wheel is kind of slim) it is a standard steering wheel however - if anyone could help me out on this it would be most appreciated.

i have a 94 and there is no aur bag in it......

I would guess not. I have a \'96 and still not air bag although according to the JDM brochure (thanks ebay) it was fitted to the \'96> touring model

thats strange Im sure I read somewhere that all of them had a drivers side bag and in 93 they had passenger bags added...very odd...

Hi,

Mine is a \'92 import and has no airbags. They weren\'t a legal requirement in Japan until \'96 or \'97-ish IIRC...
