FC speedo

Having put the dash back together following the fitting of a replacement wiper switch the speedo is all over the place.

Standing still can be anything between 10 & 20 mph and it\'s response is sluggish.

I guess I have disturbed something or not re-installed it properly - any suggestions.

Could the speedo drive be slightly loose at the back?
