Help identify wire please

Went to check on plugs today as shes been idling strange when cold. When I got underneath this is what I found:
[ATTACH]54264[/ATTACH][ATTACH]54265[/ATTACH]
Its only a short wire but I cant see where it goes or what it\'s for. Its a small 2pin plug with one wire. Any ideas please?

its the low oil sensor thats in the side of the sump and should connect half way up the passenger side of the block onto another white connector of the car loom.
