It looks like the larger efr turbos are vapourware after all. My 8374 is finally here. Yes this thread is mainly me bragging I have got one, sorry about that, but have included pretty pictures of it. Unfortunatly my build is so glacial it will be quite a while before I see what power it knocks out.

BlitzBoy

any pictures of the rear housing off, so we can the turbine wheels and the inside of the rear housing, those are the interesting bits!!!! :)

Will see what I can do, it isn\'t with me at the mo, have sent it off to be offered up to the engine so the manifold can be made.

This made me laugh :Giggle

You may be able to brag about it but I know how much they cost!!! That\'s nothing to brag about, the prices are stupid. I do want one though. But the biggest one

wolfie1

thats mine, give it back! :Giggle

Yeah they cost a fair bit, which is why I went iwg. By the time you factor in 2 wastegates, more complicated manifold, more complicated down pipe, bov (if you are that way inclined) boost solenoid etc, the difference isn\'t as much as you would expect. Anyway gtx series is hardly cheap! An ewg would have been a lot more difficult to justify.

Grant Monkhouse

That is very true. By the looks on your pic have you got the integral BOV and wastegate? Sure looks like it.

Did you get it in the t4 footprint?
