Yesterday i took Hannah\'s 90 year old grandad out for a drive in my car.

He\'s a great old boy and used to work in engineering (back when we had some) years ago working for a company in Coventry.
He\'s told me (on many occasions) how he used to work on all kinds of piston engines, helping to design pistons, liners, rods... infact everything you can think of. Engines for cars, motorcycles, planes and industry.
He also helped on rotary engines to, working on NSU\'s and helping to develop ceramic seals. He said they had a small 2 seater sports NSU that they worked on. I only really know about the Ro80 so was interested to hear about this other car.

He brought for me to look at an owners manual for an Ausin 9 car which he\'s had for many years sitting in a cupboard. It was funny flicking through it and finding out that \'new\' it would cost you £250 (£295 for the sports special) and that 10,000 miles of driving at an average of 30mpg would of cost you £27 in petrol!! I want a car that\'ll do that nowadays :p

Anyway, he loved the drive and said it was something to tick of his bucket list :D
