premix oil.

Does anyone use motul 710 2t as premix in their rx7 on here?
Normally i use millers kb2t but its hard to get hold of and pricey.

any ideas? thanks.

I know that Prof uses marine 2 stroke as its low ash and ment for constant high rpms and temperatures found in constantly running boat engines.

i use the motul 710

FULL TANK
100\\125gr Daily\\street strip\\merry jaunt
250\\300gr Track day
500gr Track day summer or several turns
500-700gr Oil pump removed.

Can you use castrol TTS 2 stroke oil instead as it smells lush ? Does anyone know ?

Would that smell like castrol r by any chance? I love the smell of that - used to run it in my old BSAs

Tesco sell this and it\'s usually better priced than halfrauds etc. which to me is important because i get throughso much of the stuff!

If i run out of that I use any old 2 stroke till I stock up again. Don\'t get too hung up on it.

Yes it smells the same as R , i even tip some in the lawn mower and then can\'t wait too cut the grass , lol .

Ok cheers . So i can use TTS or any 2 stroke oil as a pre-mix then ? How much fuel to oil ratio is required or does it differ with power level etc ?

100: 1 or 125:1

Kb2t is a really great premix but I would advise usin WI with it as from my own experience of using it and having the engine stripped down it carbons up the rotors if you are running the engine in. If not then I\'m sure proper use, frequent redline, will keep the rotors free Of carbon. It is great stuff. Next to no smoke from it too.

And i happen to have plenty:D,...(bloody hard to get hold of though)......
