Japfest meet,, going from Milton Keynes areas or surroundings?

Hi guys

As the title above,, Are there anyone driving to Japfest this Sat, which is going from Milton Keynes or going pass on the way? Just would like to see if anyone interested in driving FD/rotaries together.

There\'s a bunch of us meeting at Reading Services (mostly RX8OC) LEAVING SHARP at 0630... From MK, you could pick up the convoy at M4 J13 Chievely - about 0645ish - or M4 J15 Swindon, approx 0700?

btw I didnt book any tickets in advanced. Is it Â£20 per head at the door?

Just a word of warning we(RX8OC) are now planning on leaving Reading Services by 6.20 as some of us are out in the first track session and need to be in the briefing room by 8.10am

thanks guys for notifying me your plans! Unfortunately we set off a bit later than scheduled, so missed the rx8 convoy>< but I saw many nice Jap cars though:)

As I had no stand pass I can only parked on the grass outside Supra club. Definitely get one next year, dont wanna hit my FD bottom again on the field. Its a nice day out,, saw many rotaries! 8 and 7:) the yellow rx2 is one of the hell classic. Love it!!

bit sadly its I walked passed the MRC stand but cant really find a person to talk to. RX8OC\'s stand is hugh... Anyways looking to forward the next meet

I guess you might have walked past when many of us were up in the paddock area queuing to go out on track. We were up for much of the day until about 2.30pm due to the difficulty in moving the cars back and forth from the stand to the paddock area. Sorry you couldn\'t find anyone to talk to as a result!

I think the RX-7 stand had about 40 cars and the RX8OC had about 60. I think that was the biggest attendance at Japfest for both clubs. It was great the stands were co-located as many RX-8 owners are members of both clubs anyway.
