i was just wondering what the most about of boost my 94 fd could be set to safely without blowing it, its done just over 30000 miles from new

i am running decat, apexi filters, arc standard mount intercooler, hks twin spark and a few other bits, im running the apexi ecu and controller

Safe boost is around 0.9 to 1 bar, they are small turbos and run out of puff, people have run them higher but they don\'t usually last long lol what are your power goals?

well thats a good question, i was thinking about getting bigger secondry injectors and putting the original secondries in place of the primaries, a single large flap throttle body and a hks or trust front pipe, but for the meantime i was thinking of just turning up the boost slightly

Upgrading the fueling is always a good idea even if you don\'t increase the boost, don\'t forget the 20 year old fuel pump you are also probably running! Most people would go for a single turbo and get rid of the \'rats nest\' I have an FC rather than an FD as the FC has a single turbo as standard and I don\'t have to worry as much about emissions lol :) Also think about water injection, its good that you have thought about the ignition upgrade first though, also don\'t forget things that are overlooked quite a bit like the plastic end cap radiator and other ancilaries (its usually the ancilaries that give up and cause engine failure due to age) I would recomend you think about what power you are wanting and what you are using the car for first, then work back to what parts you need, if you post up what you use the car for and what you want to do with it ie track days or fast road etc then im sure someone can give you a good workable suggestion. It seems that as you have many of the supporting mods like the ECU etc it shouldn\'t be too hard - at least you have an aftermarket ECU fitted when running a decat!

tbh 350fwhp is pretty much the max your gonna get if your in anyway concerned about the longevity of your twin turbo pack.

boost mapped to 0.9bar will get you somewhere near 320ish with your current modifications, then bigger fuel pump and injectors will allow you to push 1bar boost and 340/350 ish.

obviously if your gonna be track driving then radiator/intercooler upgrades as well as brake system etc will all need looking at.

i have upgraded the brakes and intercooler already on the car, i also had it remapped this year at hayward rotary but understand it will need done again once i change this stuff (an ally radiator and silicone hoses is on my to do list over the winter) i mainly use it just to drive about in the summer and the occasional drag day, i want the car to be reliable and dont really want to go down the single turbo route cause i like the instant power from the get go, i am not really wanting to go mental with it just tweak it a bit

You see those BNR twin turbos up for sale? They aren\'t cheap but if your are looking for a bit more power but don\'t want a single perhaps have a look at those?
