The next event I\'ll be organising will be at Brands Hatch on 2nd December - I\'ll post up deatils in due course.

In the meantime, you might be interested in the following trackdays (sady, I won\'t be at any of them  :cry: ) organised by the nice people at Mazda on Track, who always look after us and make the day very enjoyable.


Donington Park  - Friday October 14th - £170
Never ben able to get to Donny (so far) but a legendary track!

Blyton Park - Saturday 5th November - £99
We had 20+ rotary cars here in August and everyone I spoke to had a great time at this fun track. Great for 1st timers as it\'s not a "full-on" race circuit, but a purpose built handling circuit.

Snetterton 300 - Thursday 10th November - £109
Our recent outing to Snetterton showed us what a lovely circuit this is; now at 3 miles length and with a great combination of corners, it\'s a challenging and rewarding circuit to drive.

I was planning to do Blyton again in November, but after passenger riding at Snetterton last week I think Ill go there instead - thats a great price! And its much closer to home

Well, Christmas is fast approaching and the last trackday event I\'ve organised via Mazdaontrack on 2nd Dec at Brands Hatch sold out weeks ago  

Time to say a big thankyou to everyone who supported the events I organised for RX8OC and MRC members throughout this year. I\'ve enjoyed them immensely and I hope everyone else did too. A summary of this year\'s action;

31st January (Saturday), Brands Hatch, with Mazdaontrack - 18 RX8OC/MRC cars on track
7th June (Tuesday), Cadwell Park, with Mazdaontrack - 16 RX8OC/MRC cars on track
22nd July (Friday), Oulton Park, with Mazdaontrack - 10 RX8OC/MRC cars on track
6th August (Saturday), Blyton Park, with Mazdaontrack - 24 RX8OC/MRC cars on track
19th Sept (Monday), Snetterton 300, with Easytrack - 12 RX8OC/MRC cars on track

So, looking ahead, I plan to organise a program of trackdays again next year and will start a new "2012" thread in due course. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts about any aspect of these events for next year\'s program then please PM me and I\'d be delighted to hear from you.

In the meantime, a quick plug for the one "track oriented" event which is already in the calendar for early 2012;

12th May (Saturday), Castle Combe. I\'m organising a 20 car track session at Japfest as I did last year.

i\'d like to have done more and would have been up for the brands one next month as i survived Bedford last week.  Cadwell was a brilliant weekend.  Thanks for doing all the organising

Well, looking back, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the 2011 trackdays and I’m already looking forward to next year! Huge thanks to all those that came along to drive, and also to those who came along to watch (and take passenger rides too!).

As a reprise, I organised these trackdays for members in 2011;

31st January (Saturday), Brands Hatch, with Mazdaontrack - 18 RX8OC/MRC cars on track
14th May (Saturday), Castle Combe, Japfest - 20 RX8OC/MRC cars on track
7th June (Tuesday), Cadwell Park, with Mazdaontrack -  16 RX8OC/MRC cars on track

So, discounting Brands Hatch in January, that’s a total of 95 track places in 2011, up from 74 in 2010 (inc Jan 2011 Brands Hatch).
