oil metering pump wires

In the later spec pin out diagram ( 96 on ) it shows the omp stepper motor labelled as motors 1-4 . If you look at the earlier spec loom data it just shows 4i to 4l labelled as omp stepper motor , now would this mean I could just put these terminals in any slot of the new ecu pins which say omp stepper motor?
 
I looked at the earlier spec manual and it confuses me with the explanation ;
 
4i                 ignition switch on             B+
4j                                                  3terminals/
4k                                                 4 terminals
4l                                                     B+
                                                other terminal 5-9v
 
need to suss out so i can pop in the aprporiate pin on the power fc

did you recieve my email Phil? not trying to pester , just thought id ask if you recieved it - plus i was curious if the wife has thrown a wobbler yet for having an engine in the kitchen :-)
