Stock RX7s have a heat sensor connected to the cat. When some people decat they don\'t earth the heat sensor which causes the heat light on the dash to stay on. No biggy.

Also, what is considered as a "short journey"? I know they\'re bad for the cars so will try to minimise them but sometimes cannot be avoided completely.

Would it be that it doesn\'t reach operating temperature? Is that a short journey? Moreover, what after care and driving procedures should I undertake on short journeys? No boost obviously but what else?

basically drive it under partial throtle (no boost) till it\'s warm. If you have to shut it down before its up to temp then do the shut down procedure that i mentioned. if its only just got up to temp i\'d still do it. Personally I never drive it without letting it warm up, I\'ll always just nip to the shops or something if i needs it
