Hi everyone,

I need to remove my ABS, it doesn\'t really work, gets MASSIVLY in the way for changing spark plugs and I need more space for my plan B intake, so I need to remove it.

Please note that the car has been through 3 MOTs at Mazda main dealer with the ABS light on, so its not an MOTable item.

Think you can by a kit off the shelf from the USA for the removal of it. Not sure who makes it maybe Banzai or one of them lot.

I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Hmm could I not blank off the pipes etc? might have to think about a different route if not *sigh* lol

Yeah thats basically what you do. You get an ally block with various ports and route your pipes into it to suit insted of them going to the abs pump. I think there is a thread or a how to on RX7Club iirc.

I might go for a different and probably cheaper and easier solution and switch to an electric PS pump lol that PS pump and belt is massive lol ive also remove the PS pump from the BP engine as well :)

If we are talking about removing the ABS, what MC would be best on the car?

There are different master cilinders for both S4 and S5 fc, there must be a difference between them somewere?

Hmm maybe I will just keep it then lol thats a lot of work! Sounds like I am going to go for another route and remove the PS pump and go electric - much simpler!
