The Montrose is know as "the flying turd" or "the brown love machine" depending on who you talk to...

My LS400 is called "Celine" because it tied to kill me :Giggle

Currently the family fleet are named as follows:

86 EGI = Mindy (after Mindy Macreedy in kickass)
88 EGI = Daphne (after Daphne in True Blood)
Diesel Yaris = Yugi Yaris
Octavia = Olga Octavia
Ford Galaxy = Galaxar as it is massive and Galaxar sounds like a massive planet eating thing to me :)

Quote from: Will66;769219my Mondeo gets called Dave by my missus.  It\'s because he\'s reliable, useful but unexciting and that\'s how she sees people called Dave.

This is why my Skoda, my first car, was called Norman. That and the number plate ended in NAW.

Car\'s and other inanimate objects do need names :)

My mums old mk2 Escort was called Brian, after the magic roundabout character because it was slow as a snail, lol.

I called one of my mx5s \'Molly\' because the number plate was irish and had the number 4130, which is a code for a chrome-molybdenum steel commonly used for making bmxs, also known as \'cro-molly\'.

In fact the only car i\'ve never named is my current Alfa daily hack, I generally just call her \'Alfa\', though often said in a silly over the top husky passionate voice.

I think I\'m on a par with Ada7 here :rollin
1984 Rx7: Gold. Edging towards roadworthyness!

Big Al

The only car I\'ve named to date was \'Blossom\' an old LPG powered Volvo I had many moons ago..... it  was painted in the very retro,  bright orange, popular in the \'70\'s. ( The Orange Blossom Special ) :Thumbs-up
