What mods?

Hi all, I think I\'m posting in the right section but apologise if I\'m wrong.

Okay, I\'ve recently bought my first rex (\'93 L) and  haven\'t stopped grining.  I\'ve been through various modded 5 GT Turbo\'s, RS turbo\'s and cossies and thought it was time for something a bit more grown up .  Now what mods/manfufacturers are the best?  This is my first Jap car so I want to do it right.  

Which make exhaust ? (Will a cat-back still produce a nice exhaust note and  bhp increase or is de-cat the way ahead?)

Which air filters?

Which E.C.U?

Which dump valve?

Where are the best meets?  Do you guys have a monthly or something?

De-Cat is the way to go.

Apexi is probably the best filter choice.

Most common ECU used is the Power FC, not the best, but probably good enough for most peoples needs.

Which Dump Valve isnt really going to matter I wouldnt think.

I think Ross (DRAGON) runs a monthly meet in the Exeter area which is probably close to you.  Dont know as I dont live down that way - just thought you should get a reply

We plan to have a small meet, perhaps next month, watch this space.

I sometimes go the meet in Exeter on the first Sunday of the month, perhaps we could organise to meet there.

Oh, while I\'m here, I\'m told my rex may be a rare model as it has no back seats and a dash that illuminates in red, also have front and rear strut braces as standard.  I\'m not sure what the guy\'s on about (I thought all Gen3\'s were like this).  Can anybody shed any light on this?
