Hello all,

Have been following all things Rotary for the last few years.

Thought it was about time I signed up to a website similarly inclined ;)

Looking to start my ownership next year.

I\'d prefer it to be an FC as I love the harsh lines and that the stock 12b produced more torque than the 13, after trawling through various threads it seems this will also be cheaper on the insurance!

On the insurance note I thought I\'d try and become a paid up member to try and save a few notes there however the paypal end of things isn\'t working for me, any ideas mods? :)

Some beautiful machines on here which I\'m sure will continue to inspire me in the years to come.

Welcome to MRC,

An FC may be cheaper than you think especially if this is a second car as you could get classic car insurance which hopefully with your club membership number would be even cheaper

Also may be worth knowing that our membership now runs for a full year from the date you join right around to the same date the following year

Hope this helps
All the best Clive

Hi, and welcome to the MRC. You\'ll find plenty of help and inspiration from the friendly bunch on here. I\'ve had an RX-8 for nearly 7 years, and it\'s recently inspired me to purchase an FB (1983) which is undergoing some TLC to get her fit for the road again.

I look forward to following your progress with your planned FC project :mmmm

Try the membership payment again, and if there are still problems please post back on here. We are not aware of any issues at the moment.

Maybe we should ask Casey following her recent aquisition! :)

I may have misread, it was a while ago. But when compary how to get my Wankel fix I compared the FC, FD and RX8 and was suprised to find that the Torque figures dropped during each model release but if I recall correctly the FD had the most bhp stock...

Will have to check my lineage book, it was an interesting read.

EDIT: Eeep, embarrassing. 12A in the FB, 13b in the later FBs, FCs and FDs

Yep, def a 12A in our FB :)

Mind you, I couldn\'t have told you that 6 months ago, but we have been on a satisfying learning curve with the FB for the past few months!

Jeez,

This website is fueling my itch.

I\'d promised myself I\'d wait till next year to buy a nice, sorted, functioning FC...

Doesn\'t help that Banzai Magazine have done a spread on a pair of Classic Cosmos and a Lucea(sp?).
