Another PFc question,

what should the voltage be when the car is being cranked?
it\'s 13.*Volts when not cranking and when cranking drops to 8.* volts.
Is this normal?

cheers

Very - cranking an drop battery voltage down to 7V !!

Once it fires, the alternator should lift the voltage back to around 13.5-14v, 12 ish is good when charged and engine not running.
