Will an S2 Gearbox fit an S1 Car?

This is a question to help Vincent in France.

Two Keiths have now stepped up to the plate (TRIND and myatt). Both are Saints of the Rotary world because they will each give Vincent a free gearbox for his project.

Trouble is Keith (TRIND) can get his -\'probable S2 box\'- into France but Keith (myatt)\'s -\'S1 box\'- needs freighting.....


Anyone know?

Feedback from another site suggests that the S2 box will fit OK. The transmission tunnel needs to be slightly modded or the gearlever altered. The tunnel seems the simplest route.
