Hey, done this not so long ago so heres a quick bit on how it went and help for anyone else who wants to try it.

I drained all the brake fluid, (was due/needed a change) pulled out all the pipework that runs across the back of the bulkhead (except the one for the clutch) and pulled the abs unit out on the passangers side of the car (keep this part for a min). You can strip the brake pipe right down to the flexy inside the passangers wheel well or leave it in the engine bay from where it came out of the abs unit. Tip, when removing the pipe, crimp the pipe near the end and poke a bit of tissue up the end to stop drips. saves your paint work

On the drivers side of the car you will see this wee unit

The left hand side is the feed for the rear brakes and the right is for the front. i pulled this bit out but made note of which brake pipe was which below it.

I then unbolted the proportioning valve off the side of the ABS unit and adjusted that pipework on the drivers side to join it into this valve.

There is a direction of flow and it is marked on the unit and an F to show the side for the front lines.

From that I went from the F side of the valve to a T piece that i connected to the front drivers side brake line. Then run the other side accross the firewall and round to join to my front passangers side pipe using a female to female connection. Or you can replace the whole pipe on the passnagers well and go all the way with the new pipe to the flexy hose.

For the rear line I just came out of the valve, accross the fire wall and onto my braided line to the rear. (hydro fitted in the rear line) or down to the original rear brake line using another female to female connection onto the original pipework.

Then just bleed the brakes all round and thats it :Thumbs-up

Its an easy job with a good result. i done this because the car is now a drifter and when things go wrong and your facing arse about face heading for the tyre wall, the abs dosent work so well :2eek but there is a good difference in the feel of the brakes and iv never done it before so it was a learning curve but easy done.

The bits i used. . .
1 T piece, M10x1mm
2 Female connecters M10x1mm
6 Male ends M10x1mm
1 Coil of copper nickle pipe 3/16 (standerd copper would be fine)
And a brake flareing tool.
I found a pipe cutting tool in the garage and made a wee bar to help with the tight bends. (flat bit of steel, with two smooth bars welded onto it and a rubber covering on them to help grip and protect the pipe)

hope ya like :D
