Every now and again it will come on but only last 20 seconds or so then turning off even tho it has enough coolant inside. I can`t find any leaks or anything, could it be my thermostat or coolant sensor?

Where are you checking the coolant level? Common mistake is to check the overflow bottle - its the cap in the middle of the bay at the waterpump you need to check at: but don\'t open it when its hot!

What car is this for? Mine had a minor leak in the block to heater matrix hose, which gradually leaked and I lost coolent. There might also be an air lock somewhere in the system, does your expansion tank (if its an FC) drink allll the coolent when its back down to cold?

Its an fd. I always top it up from the middle one.

As said above it could be your cap needs replacing or the hose that runs to the overflow has a small split in it.
