starting problem

after running out of fuel and leaving a week or so
i thought i may of flooded it!
so removed plugs, cleaned and refitted the next day.

now it won\'t fire at all.... engine turns over fine and there is a smell of fuel.
so i think there is no spark - not easy to tell without help!

what could go so wrong after running it dry?
