Not rotary related, (well it will be sort of, given time :wiggle) but I\'m looking for a Historic truck.  Preferably an old generator or recovery truck...  (I want historic status for the MOT/TAX exemption)

I\'ve already got access to a Matador, but I want something a little smaller to convert to transporter/trackside support unit...

Been thinking of an ex-MOD Bedford MK 4x4, but have no experience of these... (and have just missed out on buying one :()

So, oh mighty MRC knowledge guru\'s.... anyone got any ideas? :Thumbs-up

Bedfords are tough and simple, designed to be maintained in warzones.  They come up regularly on the disposal services agency website.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Yeah, been having a look - but most of the ones up for grabs at the moment are too modern for what I want...

This is the one I missed out on:

I really want one of these:

But I don\'t think I can justify the 15L V8 :Giggle

Been looking at that one on mod-sales... but I think the MOT & Tax costs would kill off my plans ;(
