I\'ve recently purchased a 1986 EGi, and it really needs a new exhaust, but it is gonna need a complete system from the block right the way through to a nice shiney polishy bit that sticks out the back!!!

I\'ve seen loads of complete systems on flea bay that would do the job but nothing about a manifold that will fit an EGi. Preferably I would like to be able to to get the whole shabang in one hit, because the idea of getting a manifold from one supplier and a system from another and then having to get the downpipe adjusted to fit, just seems to be a bit of an Farseache

So my questions are??
a. Just how difficult will it be to get hold of an EGi Manifold either new or used?
b. Do after maket units have any fitting issues with Existing manifolds??
c. Good suppliers of a nice system (are the fleabay items worth a punt)

Thanks!!!:Thumbs-up

Depends on how much you want to spend really.

If you want to build your own system Racing beat still make the parts for custom exhausts. You can buy all you need to make a system in off the shelf parts.

I think Pip at WGT does a complete egi system, but it won\'t be cheap ! My 1st gen one was around £450 !

I\'m not sure how hard 2nd hand stainless systems are to source for the 2nd gen !

Thats excellent!! gives me a couple of avenues to start looking at, I\'ve seen Pip dotted around the forums, but (excuse my ignorance) what is WGT????

He is a tuner based in Cheshire. Been racing, building and tuning rotors for a very long time (around 25yrs) . If you google wgt it\'s slightly down the list.

Welcome to MRC,

Hope you enjoy your RX-7, had it not been for buying an EGI many years ago and having loads of fun with it, MRC would never have formed :driving
