hi all , I\'ve been tinkering with my egi again and got this stupid idea of changing my uim and lim for the fd ones , I\'ve seen a lot of people do this in the turbo but since mine is an egi that\'s where my questions begin .. do you think it\'s possible ( i know i have to port match and all ) but would it mean any type of improvement to my egi ? or is it just my stupidity at it\'s peak :Thumbs-up

The lower intake manifold you will have to keep because of the 6 inlet ports as opposed to 4 on the FD,but it is possible to do the upper.
The thing is that Mazda made a good job of the low down torque on egi\'s by using dynamic effect tuned plenum (Upper manifold) which has a very mild supercharching effect and i fear you will lose that if you use an FD plenum which is designed for turbo.
