Front brake pads interchangeable FC FD?

Hi there

I read the parts sticky on the top and FD and FC front pads are the same. But yesterday my frd called up carl and he said the FC pads and FD pads are different. Can someone confirm me with that please? having trouble to find DS2500 for the FC.

Dont really have much to do with the FC\'s but according to the book they are different part numbers.
 
Having said that.....the Ferodo Catalogue has them as the same pad FCP483

I believe the FC (certainly EGI) and FD share the same.  
I have FD calipers on one of my EGI\'s and normal EGI calipers on the other, and have just switched the pads from the FD calipers onto the EGI.  No problems whatsoever.

yup FC TII/FD front callipers are pretty much the same. ( not sure about the egi\'s, some models came with rubbish brakes i believe)

Only benefit of the FD callipers is that they\'re more resistant to seizing up.
