The key lies in the prep ;)
You will need a mould release wax (meguires mirror glaze is the best)
clean the bits you want to mould (finish on them is the finish the mould will have)
lay on a coat of mould release wax (leave it for 5 mins) then buff off (repeat this 7 times on fresh mouldings)
now apply a mould release agent (normaly blue liquid and waterbased) allow it to dry a few hours.
Now lay on your gell coat (probably about 2-3mm thick) leave that for 24hrs to dry (this dries with a tacky surface)

Now apply the resin & fiberglass matting (apply first layer and allow to dry) then apply another 2 layers of matt & resin. leave it dry solid (24hrs but wou can leave it alot longer to be safe)
now the fun bit.... breaking the mould open! this can be tricky, don\'t be afrait to tap the mould with a rubber hammer and twist it if you realy need to!

now you should have a perfect mould set and ready to go ;) If for any reason you get a chip of resin come off the mould when you release it, don\'t fret, just get some plastercean and squeeze it in to the chip, stanly blade it flat, then when your ready wax it up the same way as you did creating the mould.
when you come to make them, put less matt & resin on them as you want them less ridged compair to the mould ;)
