My wipers seem to have a mind of their own

Sometimes they just won\'t work.

If I turn the engine off and then on again to the point where the instruments light up, and turn the wipers on they work and will work ok until I turn the engine off.

Loose connection, faulty switch or a common habit?

Sometimes my wipers don\'t work - but a wiggle of the ingition switch gets them going - it sounds like that\'s the fault you\'ve got.  It seems to affect the roof motors as well - since they are both on the same ignition switch circuit.
