3" decat do i need a 3" downpipe?

Hi folks

I have a 3" decat and cat back, the cat is too big to mate up to the oem downpipe. Do i take iti need a 3" downpipe? Does the \'downpipe\' bolt straight to the turbo ?

The down pipe does bolt straight onto the turbo yes. If you\'ve tried the decat on and it doesn\'t fit to the stock down pipe then yeah your gonna need a bigger down pipe too to go with your decat.

ive got a 2.5 inch jap downpipe and cat which both mate up with my 3 inch system.

the cat is hollowed out if you want it all?

or you could go somewhere like power gains and they can change the flange on either the cat or the down pipe. Probably more worth while going for a propper downpipe

de-cat and cat back?
as in cat back exhaust and also a decat section? or is it all in one?
if its seperate then just bolt on the cat back for now til u find a 3" downpipe.
should mate up to the cat no probs.

Nope, the exhaust system wont mate to the cat either, they way smaller than the 3" hole and flange.

I have a new FC3S decat which you can have cheap (email me) and maybe make use of it to make a connector to the downpipe :Thumbsup! :xconfused:Tongue1:2Rolleyes:eek
