Porting a Twin

My car will be off to Hayward in the new year for a rebuild. She is currently a stock twin turbo, i nearly have all the bits for a single conversion but this will not be for a while, due to saving time!!  I wanted to get her bridge ported at the same time as the rebuild but have had some different opinions on it.....some say its not worth doing while its still stock twin and some have said there is nothing wrong with it :3Confused
 
Basically, i know its easier to get it ALL done at the same time but funds wont allow unless i dont mind not driving it for atleast a year.....and i DO mind!!! Lol. Obvioulsy its easier to port it while its being rebuilt and i dont want to have to have the engine rebuilt AGAIN when it has its single conversion (unless it needs it).
 
So....is it OK to port them as stock twin???

From what I\'ve heard, a street port works well on twins, much more just makes it lumpy, or little to no effect

Go for a medium street port, this is what i have on standard turbos.

i went in a drift car at santapod was a bridgeported fd with non sequeintial setup, really fast and very responsive and running around 400bhp

only bridgeport an engine if you are in need of the benefits of it, dont do it for the sound or just because people think its the latest craze.

the downsides outweigh the benefits unless the bridge is something you to have over a streetport
