Can anyone help me. My clutch slavecilinder isn\'t touching the clutchfork.
I\'ve tried a new cilinder but it\'s just the same. I\'ve standard flywheel and clutch pressure plate looks to be the right one.

If the pedal just fell to the floor it means the fork has come unclipped from the pressure plate,

Using a big screw driver or bar slide it up behind the fork and pust it towards the pressure plate and you should feel it clip back in.

If this works but it comes off again you will need to take the box out because the snap ring in the pressure plate has worn

Hope this helps

Hi clive, that\'s not exactly the problem, the snap ring stays in the pressure plate but it looks like the clutchfork is to much towards the engineside so the slavecylinder doesn\'t touch the fork. Could it be that i have the wrong fork or pressure plate or do i have the wrong trowoutbearing?

how did this problem occure?? was it after a clutch change, or was it working fine, then stopped working??? this could help narrow the problem.

I\'ve bought the car with no engine so i got the engine and gearbox seperately.
Will order a new clutchfork and trowoutbearing from Clive, hope that this will solve the problem.

Before buying anything you are going to need to pull the box out (sorry)

Sounds like you have a push type FC/RX8 clutch (these will bolt on) and not a pull type FD clutch.

If you look at the two images below the one with plain fingers in the middle is push type and the other with a ring in the middle is a pull type that you should have,

I feel you need to know whats inside before going further, if you do, then its probably a bent arm, as on this link
