Can someone tell me if it\'s easy to check the level of fluid in the clutch resovior? If so where can I do it (need detail)?

My clutch was a little odd today coming out of work. Although my Apexi EL fell off and wires where everywhere (so could have been a wire holding it back as they were strewn in the footwell), the clutch seemed to stick a little when pressed down.

I grabbed it and pulled it back and since then after a bit of driving and a lot of creeping seems fine again. Just thinking it maybe a little low on fluid before I worry about master/slave cylinders. Getting it all checked out next week anyway...

thanks in advance!

Andy,

the clutch fluid is the same as brake fluid.  There is a hose from brake "canister" to clutch assy.
Often you will find a damaged clutch hose (near Oilfilter) and it starts to leak.

I assume it\'s this?:

I had a look at the levels and its kinda mid way between top and min (mind you the mids half way up)

I\'ll have a look for some leaks round the filter

will fill it, got my service next week so i\'ll keep an eye on that.

Will it dump any if there is no leak? Just thinking that its dropped to half in about a year (assuming it has dropped) of daily driving. Just trying to establish if this is normal
