Starts up but when warm it starts dumping gas or something and backfiring and eventually dies. Rebuild? I did the poor mans compression test and the rear rotor is weak on its pulses but all 3 are there... the front rotor is fine.

have you done a half decent compression test with a tester though? use a normal compt tester, remove the valve and watch the pulses.

usually even if one rotor is shot the engine will still run. so i would say its more of a fueling problem

I\'ve been dreaming of it being a fuel problem for months. Like I only hear the pump when I do the diag jumper thing. Oh and the night before it all happened I thought it was a good idea to put two cycle in the tank without putting in gas. My guess has been for awhile is that it got sucked in as 2 cycle only and killed it. When I got it home that day and took out the plugs it had two cycle oil on the plugs. :Hammer

Sad to say it sounds as though you have the same symptoms as I did when my engine died...
... if the pulses are weak but even, it sounds like a stuck side-seal(s). Or two stuck apex seals, much less likely but also possible.

I\'m afraid that probably the only way to fix this is an engine rebuild :2Confused

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings.
