starting probs

hi people,

just went to start my fd and it struggled to start itsnot the battery cos the engine was trying but would tick over, then a loud bang came from the exhaust, does anyone know what that could be, i havent driving it for a while but started yesterday fine.

Sounds like its flooded, the bang was un burnt fuel.  Dont turn it off until you have given it a good run. Try not start the car from cold and turn off before it has had a chance to warm up.

thanks mate, it seems ok now, i started it a few hours later and it started ok, gave it a good run
