electric arial not working

ive just tried to wire in a double din unint and ive connected the antena wire but the arial wont come up, any ideas guys?

Got a voltage tester? If so check that power is coming out of the stereo to the antenna, if it is then you would have to presume its an inline fuse or the unit is fecked...

where is the fuse for the ariel located?

If there is one it would imagine it will be inline, and i would imagine near the stereo. Have a look behind and trace the cable as far as you can....
