Need help with FC datalogit

HI guys
 
Finally got the car ready and put the PowerFC and datalogit from Pete into the car. the ECU works but i cannot get the datalogit to connect to laptop, commander works tho.
 
Does the light on the datalogit turn on when the ECU is on?
 
Does anyone have the USB-Serial adapter driver file from Datalogit site? would be great if someone can send me a copy of that :) email: yiug412@hotmail.com
 
Anyone had the same problem before? i changed the COM port setting around still have no luck.

What OS are you using? I know my e-manage ultimate doesn\'t like anything newer than XP

i bought a laptop with a serial port especially for tuning. i could not get usb to work at all

I have a spare laptop I use for tuning lol it has a serial port as it was used for the antiquated megasquirt system lol
