Scuff plates

I have just bought some scuff plates for my car. As mine just has the plastic ones that clip in place im going to have to drill some holes.
Can some of you guys that have the aluminium plates fitted please take some pictures of them and also advise on what soze of scews are used for fitting.

If youe gona screw it then it does not matter where or what size, as everyone has probably done it different.

Personally try using a mastic, should hold it down without the nasty screws showing and call ways pull it off and refix. Or maybe velcro.
