i got a greddy warning one, never used it has its own wideband sensor etc... gonna wire it in at some point but im being slack lol!

saying that supposedly they aint that sharp at staying accurate... alot of people use the lm1 i think it is made by innovite but they dont use them constantly?

There are a few makes out there. Quite a lot of support for the innovate stuff on rx7club.com as it works well with the datalogit if you ever went down that road.
LC1 with a XD16 guage would be good but you would need a laptop if you wanted to log data.
LM1 is a box with a display that logs data so you can take it into your house and plug into your PC to look at your logs, a bit overkill if you just want to keep an eye on your AFR.
I have an LC1, no complaints.
I got it from an official Innovate dealer who sell on Ebay UK(who I got through the Innovate website).

I am running a STACK gauge with a bosch sensor, got it on demon tweeks for £185 all in, the gauge displays the air fuel via LEDs and also as a digital read out, also if you connect the microswitch it will give you the peak A/F ratio.

Thanks for the advice, I think we\'ll probably go with the Innovate LM1. We have just bought another FD and I\'m interested in using it to try and learn something about mapping(for those of you who pointed out that I had got the engine cycle wrong-der! I aint thick, just a bit slow-something to do with having a fist sized hole in my skull held together with titanium screws)!!
Obviously we are going to need the relevant software which was going to be the next question but that seems to have been answered above by the reference to Datalogit. Is this software available in this country or do I have to get in touch with the company in NZ?

how come you decided to change it ed?

I got the xd16...coz it was the all singing all dancing unit......but it just didnt work properly...far too tempramental....some times it would work then it would ..stop...i would constantly have to recalibrate it...it just drove me mad. And its just far to complicated to install.....then i joined the innovate forum and realised i wasnt the only one with this issue......so out with thw xd16 and in went the AEM.....its never missed a beat once...easy to install...and i have never looked back since!
