heater blower not working driving me crazy!

Guys,

None of the heater / AC controls are working on my 92 import, its an automatic with leather and cruise if that helps.

The controls are completely unresponsive, nothing u press lights up or seems to do anything.

Ive checked all the fuses and relays, 2 boxes under the bonnet one behind drivers kick panel right?

Ive also checked all of the connections behind the dash (ive removed all the panels trying to fix it!) and can see nothing untoward.

Has anyone had this issue before?

Just one thing to check, is the connection to the fan in the passenger foot well connected ,

there is a white fan unit down there and in the bottom plugs the power for it (two wired one),

 if i remember correctly if that is not plugged in then nothing else works.
