Hi there, just need some help/opinions on what setup I should be looking into/what everyone else has.

The FC has a HUGE front mounted oil cooler that is about 3" thick and runs the whole lengh of the radiator, its good for about 500bhp, its a properly big bit of kit, but the problem is that I might be going over the 500bhp mark, and my T88 is oil cooled and has a journal bearing, so I am going to be looking at uprated oil coolers.

I know the FD has twin oil coolers but I know they aren\'t as good as the OEM FC ones, I have been told to maybe look into some Mocal twin coolers (I can place them in the ducting for the brakes either side of the bumper where I am guessing the FD ones are.

What other uprated coolers should I look at? I do like the idea of having twin coolers each side as it will give me more air flow down the centre of the bumper for the radiator and I won\'t have what basically is a huge heating bar across the nice cold air coming in lol

What does everyone else run? I know that there is a optimum temperature for oil, not too hot as its rubbish, but not too cold either, so I am thinking it would need a thermostat like the OEM one? Also is anyone running ducted fans behind the coolers like certain cars have on their rads when it gets too hot (like in traffic or when you have just finished a drag run and are cooling the system down on idle)

Where might be a good supplier?

They are a bit too long to be able to fit 2 of them lol plus any air coming in will be warmed up before it goes into the radiator lol I think it would be best to keep the airflow cooler to keep the 2 seperate, so oil coolers in the side and radiator down the middle.

twin hks oil coolers? or a stock fc one plus a single fd one (from the twins) in the front where the brake ducts go?
